Aluminium Tread/Chequer Plate

The chequer plate is supplied in grade 5754 H22. It is slightly stronger than plain sheet but it is still bendable.

As well as having corrosion resistance, it is also resistant to saltwater and seawater.

As a marine grade it is ideal for boat building or modifications.

It is often used on fairground rides and as wall cladding to give protection. It is also used as vehicle ramps, walkway platforms, stair treads and flooring on mezzanine floors.

The 5 bar pattern gives the treadplate a look that is pleasing on the eye meaning that it is regularly used for trade counters, exhibition stands, wall & door covering in gyms, supermarkets, cash & carries as well as inside bars and nightclubs. It is also commonly used in the manufacture of horseboxes
